BOOK REVIEW

A nine-year-old girl, Trisha McFarland went out a hike with his older brother, Pete and her recently divorced mother. After the divorce, their mother took her two children on outings. She wanted the outings instructive but Pete didn't like to be told what to do and Trisha didn't like her mother and brother argued. Pete had no place to be himself, as his only friend moved away and a lot of other students picked on him at school. The realtionship with his mother is not a good one because she didn't understand him. Trisha didn't like the way her mother treat Pete. Trisha liked a baseball player, Tom Gordon and he is the only relief for her. During their walk in the woods, Trisha wanted to pee, but her mother and brother were arguing and didn't listen to Trisha. She felt as if she was not there and stepped out the pathway. The relationship between the divorced family is not going well and Trisha and Pete had a feeling which was not fullfilled.

I consider that she was clear about recognizing the difference between a fact and an opinion. She established many reasons to support her topic and she did it very well. She was prepared about her summary and she gave a pertinent evaluation about it. Because she set many example why the people feel they are really Canadian.

My point of view about the topic is that it is a very important topic

A very interesting beginning!! I can see your full understanding of the first part of your book. But Yumikooo, I think we need to post the non-fiction book's summary instead of the fiction one?

Hello Yumiko,
It is apleasure for me to give you my point of view about your topic. I consider that is a very interesting topic. I could notice that you were very prepared about your second summary. It would be very interesting for me to know more about people who inmigrate to Canada, The reasons why they decide to leave their native countries. So then, Go ahead.

Hello Yumiko, it seemed to me very interesting your 3rd summary because now I know a little more about some reasons why peope inmigrate to this country and how they are educated in this society. I will be waiting for your final result about inmigration to Canada.
